PERM OPERA BALLET
PERM OPERA BALLET, its full official name in Russia is the Tchaikovsky Perm State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. The company blends Russian classical academicism with neo-classical creative energy. Following the arrival of its new artistic director, Alexei Miroshnichenko, the Perm company became the second troupe in Russia to stage works by William Forsythe, Jiri Kylian, Kenneth MacMillan and Frederick Ashton.
KREMLIN BALLET was founded in 1990 on the stage of the well-known Kremlin Palace. The repertoire of the Kremlin Ballet includes 15 ballets, combining the world heritage of classical choreography and its own exclusive modern repertoire. The 66 artists of Kremlin Ballet graduated mainly from Bolshoi Ballet Academy and were awarded the most prestigious dance prizes. World ballet stars regularly perform as invited guests.
BALLET MOSCOW DANCE THEATRE is a state dance theatre based in Moscow. This is the leading, most advanced contemporary dance company in Russia. This unique theatre consists of two troupes of dancers - classical and contemporary. The repertoire is exclusively created for the company by up-coming and established Russian and international choreographers: Robert Binet, Juanjo Arques, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, Anastasia Kadruleva, Artyom Ignatiev, Kirill Simonov.
IGOR MOISEYEV BALLET
Igor Moiseyev State Academic Ensemble of Popular Dance was established in 1937 as a first professional folk dancing company in the world. Its founder is an outstanding Russian ballet-master and choreographer Igor Moiseyev.
Since 1940 the Company is based in Moscow as a resident at the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall.
"GZHEL" FOLK BALLET was founded in 1988 by the famous choreographer Vladimir Zakharov. The Theatre works in two styles: national-scenic dance and classic ballet. Each production brings together bright fragments of the traditions, crafts and lives of the people of Russia. The repertoire of the theatre is regularly updated with new productions, created by the chief choreographer of the theatre Valentina Slykhanova.
