Anastasia KOVALENKO

GENERAL PRODUCER AND ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

Born to a family of ballet dancers and professors of The Bolshoi Ballet Academy, Anastasia graduated from The famous Bolshoi Ballet Academy in 2000. Later, she graduated with Honors from The Russian State Academy of Theater Arts (GITIS) with a degree in Performing Arts Management and Theater expertise. She also graduated with Honors from The University of Russian Theatre, with a degree in Pedagogy and Choreography, and later from The Russian Academy of Economy and Administration (RANEPA) and The Entrepreneur Fellowship Program by Harvard University in Moscow (EMPRETEC). Subsequently, she developed her professional skills in Sorbonne University in Paris.

During her career as a professional dancer, Anastasia became a Soloist at Bolshoi, and later, a First Soloist in Moscow Classical Ballet. She interpreted principal roles of major classical ballet and toured in Italy, France, Switzerland, USA, Mexico, China and India, and she also gave masterclasses in Indiana and in California.

In 2006, Anastasia switched careers and became a Performing Arts Manager. Prior to founding her own company, Anastasia was Head of the HR Department and International Projects Coordinator for Moscow State Philharmonic Society and Tchaikovsky Concert Hall, one of the largest concert organization established in Russia. Anastasia was responsible for the Russian tours of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, The London Symphony Orchestra, Arena di Verona and Berlin Philharmonic.

In 2008, Anastasia became an International Projects Manager at The Russian State Concert Company “Rosconcert” where she was responsible for The Moscow International Ballet Competition under the direction of Youry Grigorovich, Galina Oulanova Russian State Ballet Competition and international tours of dancers, musicians and orchestras in Russia, Poland, France and others.

Anastasia has had more than 7 years experience as a professional ballerina and more than 13 years as a Performing Arts Manager and Producer.

In 2009, Anastasia founded RUS ART - international brand to promote Russian ballet, yang stars, contemporary and folk dance all over the world..

RUS ART realizes tours in Canada, France, Spain, South Korea, Mexico, Columbia, Croatia, Romania, Mongolia, and Azerbaijan and participates in international professional societies and conferences.


Anastasia organized her first Ballet Stars Gala in 2006 in France, and later in 2007.

In 2012 and 2013, already by RUS ART precautions Anastasia produced the Gala of the Russian Ballet Stars in the State Opera Ballet Theatre in Mongolia.

In 2014, RUS ART produced the “Golden Voices of Mongolia” – a sold-out Opera Gala on the stage of the Bolshoi Theatre, with the participation of the Bolshoi Opera and the Mongolian Opera Stars.

Also, between 2014 to 2016, RUS ART produced “Les Etoiles du Ballet Russe” in Canada, in Montreal. These six sold-out gala events were presented with the Bolshoi, Mariinsky, Kremlin, Mikhailovsky, Stanislavsky and Perm Opera Ballet Stars. For this project Canadian Media Group recognized it as the “Project of The Year” and nominated us for The Prestige Award.  

In 2017 RUS ART presented the European Ballet Stars on the stage of the historic Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University for the Golden Celebration of Dance Gala in Chicago.

In 2019, RUS ART presented Vienna and Berlin Ballet Stars in Place des Art in Montreal for three shows  “Le Soirée des Étoiles”.
