RUS ART internationally represents ballet companies from Russia, Russian contemporary and folk dance companies, and World Ballet Stars.
The Company celebrates 14 years of successful experience in international booking and touring in the Performing Arts this year.
OUR MISSION is to expose the worldwide audience to the best, the most famous, and the new and promising talents arising out of dance companies and performances from Russia.
RUS ART’s first project was realized in 2010 within the cultural program of the Sochi-2014 Olympic Games. Since then, we have implemented a cultural exchange program with many shows, concerts, and tours in Canada, France, the USA, Mongolia, Azerbaijan, Colombia, Mexico, South Korea, Croatia, Romania, and Italy.
During 2011 – 2015 RUS ART, with the support of The Ministry of Culture of The Russian Federation, have been operating The State Program for the development of touring activities with participation of more than 150 theatres from different regions of Russia.
In 2012 RUS ART for the first time over the last 30 years organized a tour of Russian ballet in Mongolia. In 2014 at the Historical Stage of Bolshoi Theatre we held an Opera-Gala “Golden Voices of Mongolia”.
In 2013 for the first time since 1978 RUS ART produced the tour of Igor Moiseyev Ballet in Mexico within the framework of the 41st International Cervantino Festival in front of more than 4 000 spectators. The final performance took place at the Auditorio Nacional Miguel Hidalgo in Mexico City in front of more than 7 000 spectators. The eighty artists travelled with four tons of costumes and performed in seven cities in Mexico.
Since 2014 RUS ART has been the first company to organize a tour of “Les Etoiles du Ballet Russe” in Canada. Canadian Media Group recognized it as “Project of the year” and nominated us for The Prestige Awards.
In 2017, RUS ART brought the eighty-artists to perform a full-length classical ballet production of the Perm Ballet in Montreal, which was seen by 17 000 spectators.
In 2018, RUS ART brought the Perm Opera Ballet to Paris, to perform in a prestigious program, which included such outstanding American companies as the New York City Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, Miami City Ballet and Pacific Northwest Ballet, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the great American choreographer Jerome Robbins.
In 2019, European stars from Vienna and Berlin State Ballet debuted in three Galas of the Stars evenings in Montreal.
Today RUS ART exclusively presents Perm Opera Ballet and Ballet Moscow Dance Theatre in France and North America, as well as Astana Opera Ballet and “Beryozka” and “Gzhel” Folk Dance Company.
We continue to develop new projects and implement our experience, network and creativity, in partnership with the state and business community, to promote the best of ballet and dance internationally.
